In addition to camp students, all chaperones, parents and other family members (1 year and older) staying in a campus dorm must be registered via this website.
Chaperones
We are excited to use the dorms at CCU and cannot do it without you. Chaperones are adults who are willing to stay in a non-family dorm room with students of the same gender. Chaperones receive free housing and discounted lunches and dinners for all five days for only $50. Chaperones are welcome to sit in on classes or enjoy free time while students are in classes. Chaperones must check into dorms on Monday evening and be prepared to start chaperoning duties with their assigned group that evening. Additional chaperone duties are detailed below.
Parents and Siblings
Parents not chaperoning and siblings of camp students may stay in family dorm rooms at no additional cost. Meals may be purchased at the door for $10 each, children under 12 are $5 each.
Mornings
Chaperones and parents are required to make sure the camp students in your care are up, fed breakfast, and at Morning Devotions on time each day.
Evenings
Chaperone are required to meet on the Lawn at 9:00pm each evening to help with activities. After the activities, chaperones must gather your group, head back to the dorm, and enforce Quiet Time & Lights Out! Parents are also encouraged to come to evening activities to gather their students, but alumni and coaches will be available to direct those students back to the dorm rooms at the end of the evening.
For safety purposes, all Chaperones must have a reference letter from a coach and will go through a background check.
